The Kiss by Jina Wallwork (Jina’s version of The Kiss by Gustav Klimt.)

Each second is destroyed by its predecessor as time moves forward. There are moments that we pray will last forever. We would ask to spend eternity inside a single kiss. To turn to stone and experience the pleasure of that moment for all time. We are not stone. We live and breathe, and we must watch these moments fall away, but they are never lost because they contain a gift that exists in every moment. It is a joyful memory, and it connects to our beliefs about the future. We know that beautiful moments exist. We know that life contains magic, and when we travel through dark times, we are carried by a kiss. Those memories speak to us of the happiness that is to come. A golden experience can fuel your beliefs and sustain you through anything that can arise. It inspires the hope that is required to face any difficulties. One kiss can light up an entire journey filling your whole life with warmth. One kiss can last forever.
