A print of Melencolia 1 by Jina Wallwork is being exhibited as part of the Art of Caring exhibition. The image is Jina’s version of Melencolia 1 by Albrecht Dürer. Dürer created the image after the death of a number of friends and his mother. Jina Wallwork created her image when there was a significant death in the family. This is why it relates heavily to themes of caring and care. The writing that accompanies the piece explores the passage from life to death. http://jinawallwork.com/art/melencolia-1/3215/

This is a group exhibition. A full list of participating artists can be found at http://caringandcare.blogspot.com/p/artists.html
