Simple Pleasures
Within every simple pleasure there is a smile. It is those small moments that contain a little magic. I smile when I see children in superhero outfits. The sewn in muscles struggle to hide a tiny body and I can’t help smiling because I know how it feels to pretend that you’re a superhero. I love walking across fresh snow and feeling it crunch beneath my feet, and then looking back at the footsteps I’ve created and smiling like a child. I smile when I watch animals having a scratch against a tree. It’s a moment of relief and comfort and you can imagine the pleasure that the animal experiences. Witnessing the happiness of others always fuels my own, whether it is human being or animal. Happiness is easily spread from person to person. There are so many reasons to smile and all of those things stitch together to create a beautiful life.
