A Witness to a Smile

Every desire I hold can be reduced to a single passion. I want to witness your smile. I want to share your journey and share those moments that bring a smile to your face. I’m not a fool, I understand that life isn’t one continuous smile. I know that I will be there to catch fallen tears. On the occasions when you feel as though you’re falling apart, I’ll be there to hold you tight, and I will remind you of your own strength and power. I want to be a witness to the best and worst parts of your life. As you reveal yourself in your reactions to every joy and every heartache, I will see everything that you are. I want to know you completely and that seems enormous, but it isn’t. It’s simply a desire for time spent together and the opportunity to observe every smile.
